Green Britain: Ecotricity for Renewable Energy in the UK

British “Green Electricity” company Ecotricity began providing and pushing for renewable energy in 1996, with the mission to change the way electricity is made and used in Britain.  Now the company whose slogan is “turning electricity bills into windmills” has produced a campaign urging UK residents to
“dump the big six” and move towards “clean forms of power like wind, solar, wave & green gas.” The Big Six they are referring to are Britain’s major (and controversial) energy companies: EDF, Centrica (British Gas), Eon, RWE Npower, Scottish Power and Southern & Scottish Energy. They created the above short film as part of this campaign, showing anthropomorphic cooling towers looking quite surprised at their sudden demise.
